We have been using these placemats every day and they are perfect for us. I really can't say heat resistant because we only have plates on them but they look good and are easy to clean. And at a great price.Very functional placemats; easy cleanup. I subtracted a star as they are pictured as off white & blue but are definitely beige & blue. Much darker than pictured.These place mats look good and are easy to clean. However, they are thin. I don't think they could be heat resistant. Also if you spill any liquid it goes right through.I purchased this for my patio table. They do the job!I bought a set of eight so I could have spares. I don't think I will need spares. These are very well made. They lay flat and are easy to clean. Good product.We use these everyday day on a wood table. They are “floppy” , not stiff, but easy to clean .
